Clarification on Inter-Regional Transfer Policy 2026

The Food Corporation of India Headquarters has released an official clarification regarding the minimum tenure required for inter-regional transfers within the North Zone.

Key Highlights

  • Minimum Tenure: The minimum tenure at a "hard station" has been reduced from 3 years to 2 years for eligibility.
  • Spouse Cases: Employees whose spouses are working in central/state government will receive priority clearance in the next transfer cycle.
  • Medical Grounds: Applications submitted under critical medical grounds must now be accompanied by a fresh Medical Board Certificate not older than 3 months.

Message from the Regional Secretary

"We urge all members who are eligible under the new relaxed norms to submit their updated applications through the HRMS portal before the 30th of August. ESU Sangh is actively monitoring all pending cases."
